An Angel of the Lord

Onboard Retreat at Sea Cruise
And so men step off the cliff
Even though they have been warned again and again,
For they are hell-bent on their own destruction
And though a thousand angels cry for them to turn back.
They race ahead
And reaching the end of the path,
They never see that the solid ground ends there
And so tumble head-first over the cliff.
This happens even though in God’s great mercy
Our Blessed Mother has come again and again
To tell them of the danger ahead
And that there is a cliff
Over which they must not fall.
For falling over this cliff,
They will land outside the will of God
Which is a tragic place to land.
Oh watch today as men rush ahead
And fall over the cliff
And so introduce the great and terrible day of the Lord.
