There was a time of plenty, and then there was not.

There was a time of comfort, and then there was not.

There was a time of protection, and then there was not.

And men charted out the course

Hoping to determine what had changed

And what had brought them from then to now.

​

And they came up with detailed maps, and lines of statistics

And they blamed first one thing and then another.

But never did they see what really had occurred,

For God had simply moved His hand

And in that instant, the world was changed.
